Ali Moghaddam
Medicare Professional
Ali Moghaddam When Ali Moghaddam was ten months old, his family moved from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Atlanta, Georgia. On the first day of his college career, his father died of cancer. After witnessing the devastating effects of a family losing the primary breadwinner and a widowed mother having to raise her three boys alone, Ali felt a personal calling to work in the insurance industry. Ali earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from Georgia State University, and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business in 2002. After earning his Master of Business Administration, he decided to follow his calling and work as an Agent and Financial Advisor in the insurance and financial services industry. In 2002, Ali began working in the insurance and financial services industry and decided instantly to concentrate on Medicare. He realized that the general public has a high level of anxiety and confusion about making the most important healthcare decision when they reach the age of 65. Ali has made it his career to help seniors approaching the age of 65 navigate the difficult Medicare planning process. Ali has led countless educational Medicare planning workshops in Georgia and across the country since 2002. Ali Moghaddam was elected President of GA Medicare 101 Corp. in 2015. GA Medicare 101 Corp. is a non-profit organization with offices throughout Georgia and its headquarters in Atlanta. Ali and GA Medicare 101 Corp have assisted thousands of Georgians in becoming “Medicare Gurus.” Through the educational workshop, seniors can learn everything they need to know about the healthcare expenses that Medicare covers and does not cover, as well as their options. He is adamant that seniors attending GA Medicare 101 workshops will help them understand their options, which option will best suit their unique needs, and, most importantly, the consequences of selecting the wrong Medicare option when they reach the age of 65. Ali and his wife Maryam have been married for over 18 years and live in East Cobb. Their two handsome boys are Nicholas, Nathan, and Tyson, a cute Mini-Goldendoodle puppy. Ali volunteers on a number of local boards. Ali is the Walton Youth Football Head Football Coach for the 3rd-grade Team. He is passionate about child development and enjoys coaching youth sports, particularly football and basketball. Ali has lived in Atlanta his entire life and is an avid supporter of the city’s sports teams. He enjoys taking his family on international vacations, going to concerts and music festivals, and participating in a men’s adult basketball league.
