Michael A Daley
Licensed Sales Agent
Michael A. Daley is a person who is most happy when he is helping others and working for good causes from the time when he was 8 years old and he first experienced the personal joy he felt when he helped his school by selling pancake tickets. As he grew up the projects he worked on became more far-reaching like the Jerry Lewis Telethon and Special Olympics. He is especially proud that his efforts in fund raising kept his area local chapter of Meals on Wheels which was in danger of closing afloat for several years. It was at this time that he became aware of the importance of helping others less fortunate than himself. After graduating with a degree in Sociology, Michael started his professional career in Social work first working with mentally handicapped adults while at the same time fostering several children, one who is now married and stays in contact, a testimonial to his people and relationship building skills. Michael’s people skills were recognized by the Principal Financial Group (PFG) who hired him for their customer phone services to help customers understand their 401K and Pensions. While in this position he was recognized by PFG for his ability to build a relationship with the customer within 5 minutes. Michael not only helped customers by educating them on how they could grow their assets in their 401K but also helped PFG retain assets that were in danger of leaving PFG. While speaking to clients on the phone intent on leaving PFG he asked them to reconsider and talk to a PFG financial advisor first. Michael was asked to help train other employees on the proper way to approach a customer with regards to asset retention. Michael was moved to the PFG Mortgage group while there his unique skill-set of being able to motivate others was recognized by PFG and he was moved off phone sales and was promoted to Office Sales Manager. PFG sold their mortgage business to Citigroup and Mike was transferred to Dallas. When Michael went to Dallas, he felt unfulfilled and decided that the best way he could combine his business skills and fulfill his need to help others was to start his own business. While working for PFG he became aware of how unsure and uneducated many seniors were about retirement and decided he could help seniors the most by educating them on Medicare insurance. Michael now represents many different insurance products and companies and owns and runs a successful Insurance Agency. Keeping his goal of helping topmost in his mind, he has co-authored a booklet with a like-minded individual which is solely an education piece, entitled, Solving the Puzzle of Medicare, which was featured by a Forbes author in their Forbes internet Magazine in 2016. As a business owner he is now very involved with many local charities and has sat on the board of several community charities. He is sought out by many local organizations to help them organize and design local charitable events.
