Michael McDonald
Licensed Sales Agent
After graduating from the University of Mississippi under an NROTC Scholarship, Mike started his Naval career with three months in Jacksonville, Florida. This temporary duty did not have much impact on his time in the Navy, but it was just long enough to meet the love of his life and now wife of 35 years. Eleven years later, when he got out of the Navy, they decided to move back to Jacksonville which has been their home since 1998. Shortly after returning to Jacksonville, Mike went to work with Blue Cross, Blue Shield of Florida and he’s been helping people with their insurance needs ever since. Licensed in 2002, he then spent ten years as an independent agent working with Aflac. Healthcare reform provided an opportunity for him to return to Florida Blue (BCBS), where he quickly became an expert in helping people navigate the Healthcare Marketplace. He has also spent the past ten years helping Medicare recipients understand the provisions of Medicare and finding the right products to minimize their risks. As a benefits specialist & advisor with KMS Financial Group, Mike continues to help our customers understand the options available to cover their needs in the form of healthcare, voluntary benefits, and Medicare.
