My name is Rob Michaelson, and I am the owner of Optimal Insurance Group located in Boca Raton, Florida. I specialize in helping people understand Medicare in an uncomplicated way so they can make the right choice that meets their needs when selecting a Medicare Health Plan. I was born and raised in Ohio and graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. After graduation, I worked for various Fortune 500 companies earning the highest level of achievements and promoted to top management positions. While working full time, I earned an MBA from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University and was a Dean’s List student. I later became a licensed Health and Life Insurance agent where I found my true passion in helping people with their insurance needs. Recently, the Florida Retirement Group rewarded me with my own local territory within my community to be able to provide educational workshops to seniors so I can continue to help more people. In my spare time, you will find me with my wife of 26 years and my three kids, family, and friends. I stay active working out and playing pickleball or golf.
